Anapa
Anapa is situated in the south-west part of Krasnodarsky krai of the Russian Federation, on the coast of the Black sea, at the turn of flat Kubano-Priazovskaya lowland of the Tamansky peninsula and the hilly peninsula Abrau. Such peculiar relief imparts it unique picturesque color. This resort area is situated in two physiographic areas. Gelendzhik
The city is situated on the bank of the Black sea at the Gelendzhik bay, formed by 2 capes – Tonkiy (Thin) and Tolstiy (Thick). It is situated in 176 km to the south-west from Krasnodar, in 46 km to the south of railway station of Novorossiysk. Gelendzhik resort zone consolidates settlements in the riverside from Kabardinka to Arhipo-Osipovka. The population of the zone makes up 86 thousand people, 53 thousand of them live in Gelendzhik.

Novorossiysk

Temruk (the Tamansky peninsula)
Before we begin our familiarity with town Temruk let’s look at the Tamansky peninsula. The Tamansky peninsula is situated on the south-west of Russia, where together with Crimea it divides basins of the Black and Azov seas. Shores of the seas differ in abruptness; their precipices reach 100 m of height. In the degradations of the coastal zone there are estuaries and small lakes. Tuapse
It is an industrial and port city of krai subordination. Administrative center of Tuapse area is situated on the shore of the Black sea in the mouth of two rivers – the Tuapse and the Pauk to the south-west of Krasnodar in 145 km by railroad across the Goryachiy Klyuch (Hot Spring) or in 162 km by motor road across the Goryachiy Klyuch. Its population is 66 thousand people.
